Introduction to the Mindset College Programme

IN THIS MODULE:

We provide you with an overview of what you will learn in this course. It will give you the full anatomy of the course and instructions on how to benefit the most from this experience. There is also an Athlete Assessment for you to complete. This will show you at the end of the course how you have improved. 

No 1: Mastering the little things

IN THIS MODULE:

  • Learn to set goals differently. You cannot set goals that break trust in yourself because this kills confidence

  • Goals from the Heart will truly help you build trust and confidence in yourself

  • Set Daily Routineswhich reinforce this trust in yourself

  • Build a personalised Morning Formula for consistent execution.

No 2: Vision and Purpose

IN THIS MODULE:

  • Identifying and clarifying your Values for Success 
  • Following the guidelines for creating a Vision and Purpose
  • Discovering the powerful Looking Back Method
  • Build a foundation for success based on your personal desires and purpose. It is a simple guide on how to  achieve your purpose and build a career using principles like Lego Bricks. Step by step, with a calm understanding of the process. You eliminate panic.

No 3: The Art of Competing Part 1

IN THIS MODULE:

A guide through the essence of mental toughness. You will gain 100% clarity on how to compete effectively. Be amazed at how enjoyable this can be!

  • We start with Building your Mental Toughness and the tools you need to implement in matches
  • Fear is a natural component for every competitor to manage. We tackle the Fears that often interfere with your toughness. Mindset College shows you how to recalibrate fears into the right boxes. It is a unique way of looking at fear and is very effective 
  • Having helped athletes overcome Fears, often results did not match the progress, until I realised that there was a problem of Fears From The Past resurfacing. Only when you understand Historic Fear, will your mindset change, and you can begin to fly
  • Once you have your fears and doubts under control you can begin the process of Building Locker Room Power

No 3: The Art of Competing Part 2

IN THIS MODULE:

  • The essence of mental toughness. 
  • Understand the Three Problem Machines under pressure
  • The analogy I use is Drowning because there are times when you are fighting when it literally feels like you have to find a way to stop yourself from drowning
  • Physically, athletes need to know how to suffer and keep going even as their bodies are screaming for them to quit. This is called Sweet Suffering because overcoming adversity whilst in the intense cauldron of a match is incredibly rewarding
  • When an athlete is under huge pressure, drowning mentally and suffering physically, he or she has to find a way to still Think Logically and keep some perspective

No 4: The Communication Map

IN THIS MODULE:

  • We communicate both verbally and through body language. How do we do this to our advantage when competing?  Effective Communication fosters good relationships in life and these affect competitors more than they realise.  

  •  Understand your Communication Style and identify the communication style of others

  •  The power of  Drama and Harmony triangles

  •  Communicate your Competitive Message effectively

  •  Learn the major keys to getting what you want learning the Adult | Parent | Child model to uplift any conversation into a constructive place

No 5: Change Management

IN THIS MODULE

  • Fly above change on wings that alleviate huge amounts of anxiety and stress as you learn to cope easily with change. 

  •  Dealing with change is difficult unless you have a plan and tools to understand the cycle of change

  •  Learn the technique of the fabulous Infinity Change Cycle

  •  See change as an opportunity to Learn from Chaos

  •  A huge de-stressor and calming module that allows you to relish change

No 6: Power of Awareness Part 1

IN THIS MODULE

Transform your perspectives on Introversion, Labelling and Rejection in a powerful journey to being comfortable in your own skin.

  • Transform introversion and reframe how you view extroverts and introverts on a spectrum that breaks the myth of what we think we are!
  • Learn how to deal with Labelling and how it affects ourselves and other people
  • Discover how to move on from Rejection to opportunity. This amazing perspective will bring about coping strategies that open opportunities after rejection

No 6: Power of Awareness Part 2

IN THIS MODULE

  • We deep dive into Comparison, Inadequacy, Expectations and Judgement 

  •  How comparing yourself to yourself is a healthy and sustainable metric that you can win and what impact this type of comparison has on your performance. Get rid of toxic comparisons

  •  We show you how to deal with inadequacy and how to cope with expectations

  •  Give you the tools on comparison, inadequacy and expectations that make a difference to your results

  •  Lastly we look at how to Reframe Judgment of others and learn to be kind to ourselves by understanding that we too often see ourselves as too important

No 7: Positive Conflict

IN THIS MODULE

  • Imagine seeing conflict as an opportunity to fact find and become a fun experience to know someone better? How much stress would that take off your shoulders if confrontation was seen as an opportunity rather than a threat and possibly hurtful?

  •  You will identify the 5 Styles of Conflict

  •  The magic of Three Golden Word will transform your approach to confrontation and turn it into a healthy dialogue of discovery

  •  You learn how to apply the Two Chairs and a Box in the middle tool on how to deal with conflict

  •  We analyse how to deal with conflict in a match

  •  You will  evaluate your knowledge on conflict Management

No 8: Building a legacy

IN THIS MODULE

  • When you know what you want and realise that your legacy starts when your career begins this perspective becomes a huge motivating force.

  •  Define your own legacy and start creating it step-by-step

  •  We will demonstrate the Ripple Effect of your legacy which is incredibly inspiring and motivating when you understand just how far-reaching your actions can be

  •  Looking into the future from the top of the Mountain View and get a sense of how the whole program is interwoven into a powerful and unstoppable force in your life if you apply the principles consistently

We conclude the Mindset College Programme with your:
